ABOUT US

Dottir was created out of a love for ceramics: Dottir Nordic Design was founded in 2009 – back then, we were called Finnsdottir – at a time when ceramics were experiencing a real revival in Denmark.

Today, we are a small, thriving Danish-owned company based in Filmbyen in Hvidovre. Everyone in and around the Dottir family is united by a shared passion and love for ceramics. Our goal is not simply to create the finest and most uncompromising porcelain quality in the Nordic region – above all, it is a passionate commitment to quality and excellence that should permeate everything we do at Dottir.
Because we do not simply create porcelain; we strive to create cosy moments and little stories that find their way into the heart of the home. We want to be part of the heartbeat of the home, in a symphony of beautifully crafted design and the stories behind the products.

That is why we say: Dottir, made by hand & designed with heart.
